Northern Ireland's Rory McIlroy faces American JJ Spaun in the playoff. Why is it being held today? The playoff was forced into Monday due to bad light when the fourth round ended on Sunday night. Sunday's play was also suspended for four hours due to the threat of lightning. What time does the playoff start? All the info on the start time can be found HERE. How will it work? The playoff will be held over three holes - 16th, 17th and 18th. The best aggregate score will determine the winner. If level after those three holes the play-off will move into sudden death and begin at 17 and move to 18 if required. If there is still no winner, then the sudden death will begin again at 16, move to 17 is required and again to 18. How can I watch it?
