Alfred Enoch, now 36, is fondly remembered for portraying Dean Thomas, a fellow Hogwarts student and Ginny Weasley's brief love interest, in seven out of the eight Harry Potter movies. His talent took him further to star in the critically lauded series How to Get Away with Murder starting in 2014, where he played central character, Wes Gibbins. Following his success on screen, Alfred graced the stage by performing as Edgar/Poor Tom in a collaborative production of King Lear between Talawa Theatre Company and Manchester Royal Exchange and later starred in Red at London's West End in 2018. Shifting focus to Josh Herdman, now 38, fans will recall his portrayal of Gregory Goyle, one of Draco Malfoy's loyal companions in the Harry Potter film series. Post-Hogwarts, Herdman invested half a decade honing his skills in jiu-jitsu before taking a leap into mixed martial arts (MMA) in 2016, marking his debut in Romford. Reflecting on his choice to transition from acting to combat sports, Herdman once shared his thoughts with MMA news portal Addicted MMA On The Road: "I chose MMA because I love the sport. It's raw, exciting and unpredictable. I find it more interesting than boxing, although I appreciate the beauty and art in boxing. "It also made sense to move onto MMA because of my jiu-jitsu training. I would like a few amateur fights first to get me started and where it goes from there, who knows?". In 2018, he also returned to his acting roots with roles in a film adaptation of Robin Hood and the British detective series Marcella. He also made a brief appearance in the spy thriller series Alex Rider. He also participated in "The Games" on Channel 5, a live sports competition where he competed in various athletic events. Katie portrayed Harry's love interest Cho Chang, making her first appearance in the Goblet of Fire. The opportunity came about when Katie's father spotted an advertisement for the role and suggested she try out. Despite waiting hours for a brief five-minute audition and feeling doubtful about her chances, she received a call-back two weeks later. She eventually won the role of Cho, beating over 3,000 other hopefuls. Since the end of Harry Potter, Katie has transitioned into theatre, starring in various productions across London. Yet, post-filming, he found himself tangled up with the law, facing off in a High Court dispute. As covered by My London, back in 2016, Murray faced legal action from his agent demanding £210,000 over alleged neglect to pay due commission fees. During the court case, Devon was represented by his own parents. Trials revealed that he had burnt through nearly £1 million on 'cars, drink and girls' during his teenage years, as reported previously by The Daily Mail, culminating in a lost court case regarding the outstanding agency fees. After the court sided against him, Mr Murray spoke to the press, expressing resignation and dismay: "What's done is done now. There's nothing we can do. We're all gutted now. There's not a whole lot we can do. We have to get by whatever way we can now." In a candid chat, the youthful actor opened up about his expenditures, revealing: "There was an awful lot of things I put money into. I bought a lot of horses at the time... I bought property and the arse fell out of that. It wasn't all just women, cars and drink. It wasn't all that." Since stepping back from acting post-Harry Potter, Devon has been embracing family life, taking pride in being the father to his little boy Cooper. Several well-known adult actors from the Harry Potter films have also passed away, including Richard Harris (the original Dumbledore), Alan Rickman (Severus Snape), John Hurt (Mr Ollivander), Robbie Coltrane (Hagrid), and Michael Gambon (the later Dumbledore).
