Channel Finder: DirecTV, Verizon Fios, Cox, Xfinity, Spectrum, Optimum
Games throughout the WNBA season will also be televised on ESPN, CBS, NBA TV and Amazon Prime Video. All of which (except Prime) can be streamed on DirecTV Stream (free trial) and fuboTV (free trial).
What is DirecTV Stream?
DirecTV Stream is a comprehensive internet TV service that offers your favorite entertainment, news and sports channels, as well as local TV stations and regional sports networks. It’s the only choice for fans who want full access to local, televised sports. DirecTV Choice includes 125+ channels, unlimited DVR storage and thousands of on-demand titles.
What is fuboTV?
FuboTV is a live TV streaming service focused on live sports, including U.S. and international soccer, the WNBA, NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL and more. It also includes its own fubo Sports Networks with exclusive programming, and 35 regional sports networks such Fan Duel Sports and YES Network. fuboTV carries 55,000 live sporting events annually, and offers 202 channels starting at $54.99 (for the first month, then $84.99 after that), includes unlimited DVR, and streams on most devices.
What to know for the 2025 WNBA season
Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever will draw crowds everywhere they go this season. Games will be moved to bigger arenas for them on the road to fit more fans, making for what should become unprecedented success for the WNBA. Of the Fever’s 44 regular season games, 41 will be nationally televised. That’s the most of any WNBA team in league history. Clark is the odds-on favorite to win MVP (+200) and Indiana has the fourth-best odds to win the Finals (+390). For reference, Indiana was swept in the first round of the WNBA Playoffs last season.
The main spotlight will be on Clark, but there’s plenty of superstars and those who will quickly become one. A’Ja Wilson and the Las Vegas Aces are primed for another title run, Breanna Stewart and the New York Liberty will look to repeat as champions and Alyssa Thomas was traded to the Phoenix Mercury this offseason. Angel Reese will look to make a jump in year two with the Chicago Sky and first overall pick Paige Bueckers will give a much-needed jolt to the Dallas Wings.
There’s also a new team in town. The Golden State Valkyries are the WNBA’s newest expansion team, but won’t be the last. The Toronto Tempo and an unnamed team from Portland Oregon will join the league in 2026, with another team likely to come soon after.
