The crash occurred at the Larne Road area of Carrickfergus. Advertisement Police say they were alerted at around 8:55pm on Thursday evening, following a collision involving a young girl and a blue coloured Hyundai car. She was taken to hospital for treatment of her injuries. Her condition has been described as critical. The PSNI’s enquiries are ongoing, and anyone who may have any information that could assist them, or who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the collision, is asked to contact them.
