But of course few are. rhondajeremy (8) Funniest 33 minutes ago i_dig_chicks (0) Funniest 32 minutes ago My mom is not here today. I mean she's still alive just on vacation. Jake Havechek (4) Funniest 34 minutes ago One of my mom's favorite songs was Rise by PiL. She was also a Stooges fan, she liked when I played the Funhouse album loudly in my room. About 20 years I took her to a Cure concert. She was also a big Depeche Mode and Roxy Music fan. I have always been punk rock, but it made it very hard to rebell in that household growing up. Rest in peace, mom, enjoy the silence. NathanAllen (2) Funniest 33 minutes ago My Mom only rarely evinced moments of coolness. Like that time Hulk Hogan hit on her in front of me (at 4 years old) and she flirted back before politely declining. Jake Havechek (0) Funniest 31 minutes ago I also learned all I know about cooking, just by watching her do it. (0) Funniest 30 minutes ago You can see my mom in a lot of 70's porn. A lot of it. (1) Funniest less than a minute ago Ha, not in a million years was my mom cooler than I am. BeerGraduate (0) Funniest less than a minute ago Mothers have been around almost as long as Jesus. Thankfully, Mother's Day is not woke yet (0) Funniest less than a minute ago I discovered an old photo album of my mom in the 70's and drew a detective conclusion that she was a groupie of Grand Funk Railroad and my real dad was the bassist Don Brewer with an afro. She's turned into a Martha Stewart style square now PC LOAD LETTER (1) Funniest less than a minute ago CarnySaur: You can see my mom in a lot of 70's porn. A lot of it. I have a friend who can say that about their dad, too. Hope your therapy bill isn't too bad. kling_klang_bed (0) Funniest less than a minute ago Egads, subby's never been with my mom. The fact I slid out of that makes me wanna bury myself alive. She got to see all the acts in local clubs and bars before they became huge. She still talks about getting to see Stevie Wonder perform when he was just a kid. As a live music fan myself I'm a little jealous. Biledriver (0) Funniest less than a minute ago 3 or 4 years ago My mom and I were talking and she just casually mentioned that she did a ton of choreograph work with Wayne & Shuster in the 70s. She was surprised I knew who they were, I was almost mad she'd never mentioned it. /said they were nice guys Recoil Therapy (0) Funniest less than a minute ago MrsRT got felt up by Nina Hartley. A few years ago the (now adult) kids heard the story and admitted that they'd really have to up their game/s to catch up. Surly U. Jest (0) Funniest less than a minute ago Our mom's were freakier than we'd like to admit. DarkSoulNoHope (1) Funniest less than a minute ago My mom grew up in the 50s, there was nothing cool about the brainwashing social engineering movies they made kids watch back then, which turned my parents into the ignorant racist Trump loving Baby Boomers they are today. There are people who made fun of those movies though: MST3K - A Date With Your Family /Emotions are for ethnic people Magnus Eisengrim (0) Funniest less than a minute ago puffy999: Happy Mothers Day [Fark user image 850x1020] You have a very unconventional relationship with your mother.
