Zelenskyy says Putin's words are 'at odds with reality' after strikes on Ukraine – video
The Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, said the words of Putin’s agreement to stop striking energy and infrastructure targets were 'at odds with reality' after a series of drone attacks across Ukraine. Russia hit civilian areas overnight and damaged two hospitals, after a two-hour conversation between Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump in which Russia agreed to the infrastructure moratorium but rejected Trump’s request for a full 30-day ceasefire, to which Ukraine had agreed last week in Jeddah. 'Today I will have contact with President Trump,' Zelenskyy said at a news conference after the strikes. 'We will discuss the details of the next steps with him,' he said, adding that Russia was 'not satisfied when something is going in the right direction'
