Musa, who was initially included in Chelle's provisional 39-man list, will not be part of the team that faces Rwanda and Zimbabwe later this month.
This omission comes after Musa's return to the national team setup following his last appearance at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
What Musa said
In a conversation with Modzero Sports, the former CSKA Moscow forward emphasized the importance of unity and dedication.
"The team is one, and any player called upon to do battle for the Super Eagles must give his all," Musa stated.
He continued, "I am totally in support of the team and will be cheering them to victory in these World Cup qualifier matches."
Super Eagles will open their camp in Kigali on March 16, ahead of their match against Rwanda on March 21 before hosting Zimbabwe in Uyo.
