Ana Ivanovic and Bastian Schweinsteiger have reportedly gone their separate ways, leaving fans stunned by the news. The couple, who tied the knot eight years ago and were often hailed as a picture-perfect duo, are now said to be completely out of each other’s lives.Ivanovic had ended things with golf pro Adam Scott just two years before her romance with Schweinsteiger began. She and the German football star were first linked in 2014, seen vacationing and attending events together, and made their relationship official with a string of public appearances the following year.In 2016, the tennis-soccer power couple tied the knot in Venice, Italy, during a two-day celebration surrounded by close friends and family. Two years later, they welcomed their first son, Luka, followed by Leon in 2019, and a third child in 2023, whose name they’ve chosen to keep private.However, their relationship couldn’t stand the test of time, as the two are reportedly no longer together, according to German outlet Bunte. The fallout is said to have occurred two months ago, though the news has only surfaced recently.Ana Ivanovic is currently living in Belgrade, the capital of her country Serbia, and has taken their three sons with her. She resides in a roughly 100-square-meter apartment located near the homes of her parents and her brother. After retiring from the sport in 2016, she gave an interview to Tennis Warehouse where she opened up about her life post-tennis and the transitions she faced.When asked if she would like her sons to follow the same path as her, Ivanovic replied that while she would support them in whatever they choose, she and Bastian Schweinsteiger don't push them toward tennis or any other sport.“We would love our kids to be interested in sports, but we will not put extra pressure on them to play a particular sport. We want them to pursue their own passions, no matter what they are,” the Serb saidIvanovic is now set to make a rare on-court appearance this spring, joining fellow tennis legend Martina Hingis for an exhibition match at the Gonet Geneva Open on Sunday, May 18.
