It's been an eventful few months for Katya Jones. The professional dancer who was partnered with Wynne Evans on Strictly – and the pair performed brilliantly.
Despite a couple of dramatic moments on the programme, the pair exited Strictly Come Dancing just before the grand final. But they found themselves caught in more controversy following an "inappropriate" comment by Wynne.
The 53-year-old opera singer left the Strictly tour to focus on his health following some backlash. On Instagram, he said: "I've agreed with the BBC that I'll take some time out from my radio show and the Strictly Live tour, as well as my other public commitments, to prioritise my wellbeing."
Despite this, the tour continued with Katya still participating in the group numbers. And since the shows concluded in early February, she looks like she's been very busy.
As well as travelling to Australia, Katya has been teasing various projects on Instagram. And during an online Q&A, she even dropped some hints about her future career plans.
When asked about recent filming, she shared a photo of her leg adorned with a nude heel, teasing: "Can't tell you just yet but it will be coming out next month! [eyes emoji]. That's all I can show you."
Looking ahead, Katya hinted at an exciting 2025, telling fans: "Actually 2025 is looking very exciting! Quite a few projects and jobs that I've been working on for a while!".
Katya Jones credits Strictly Come Dancing for providing her platform and plans to stay as long as her passion remains. However, she hinted at exploring other opportunities too.
The 35-year-old dancer said: "We are growing and evolving. And not getting any younger. So it is important to keep looking ahead and create a future for myself doing things I love."
When asked which judge she would emulate, Katya teasingly posed by a 'judges only' sign and hinted at a potential new role: "Hm... we might get to see soon what kind of judge I am going to be." That sounds like a pretty big hint if you ask us!
