Found on the River Nene in a converted floating Dutch barge, Charters Bar is somewhere a little bit different to enjoy a drink or even a meal in its Pan Asian restaurant. On Saturday, March 15, the bar will have live music from The Band From County Hell to celebrate St Patrick's Day.
The Celtic folk rock band will take to the stage from 10pm with DJs playing music before the performance from 8pm. The event might be good for those who want to enjoy the celebrations but want to avoid the Tuesday hangover.
The event is free to enter, and you do not need to buy a ticket beforehand.

This authentic Irish pub can be found on busy Mill Road and has Guinness on tap for those wanting to celebrate St Patrick's Day. The pub has traditional Irish music every Monday and shows live sports, including all of the Gaelic games and rugby.
