After a glorious Bank Holiday weekend, things are set to return to normal with cloudy skies and some heavy rain forecast for the week. According to the Met Office, a band of rain that hit Greater Manchester today (August 26) will stick around for the next few days. Light showers are expected from around midday, with a 60% chance of precipitation predicted. Luckily, that will be the only bit of wet weather on Tuesday with that number falling drastically to around 10% and plateauing at around 5% in the evening. The sun will be visible throughout the rest of Tuesday afternoon, but only in intervals as the clouds will dominate the skies. Temperatures will remain in the low 20s, falling to 16C this evening. Greater Manchester will see almost all the seasons on Wednesday. The Met Office says that the region will see heavy rain from around midday to 3pm, with a 90% chance of precipitation expected for that time period. Things will dry up after around 4pm, which will see sunny intervals until the sky clears from around 6pm. Temperatures will peak at 20C, falling as low as 15C well into the night.
