For the final time in the 2024-25 regular season, the Detroit Red Wings will take to the ice at Little Caesars Arena, hosting the Dallas Stars. It has been a bumpy season for the Red Wings. Despite having extended runs of great play, they have not been able to find the consistency in order to break their eight-year playoff drought. They were officially eliminated from playoff contention after the Montreal Canadiens grabbed a point in an overtime loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday night. Unfortunately, the Stars don’t have much to play for either. They were trying to keep up with the Winnipeg Jets in the race for the Central Division title. However, with Winnipeg winning this past Saturday, the Jets clinched the division championship. That means Dallas will finish second in the Central, setting up a highly-anticipated matchup with the Colorado Avalanche in round one of the playoffs. RED WINGS STREAMING OPTIONS Currently, the Wings are sixth in the Atlantic Division, six points back of the last Wild Card spot in the Eastern Conference.
