FANS of The Traitors are in for a treat as two HUGE names have signed up for the Celebrity version. With just days to go before the cameras start rolling, The Sun can exclusively reveal the exciting last minute cast members. A-list British actress Celia Imrie, who most recently starred in Netlix's The Diplomat, will be trying her luck on the show. The 72-year-old star will be joined in the final line-up by chat show host Jonathan Ross, who previously worked for the BBC. The Sun previously revealed "self-confessed Traitors fan" Jonathan had been in talks with Beeb bosses - and the 64-year-old has now signed on the dotted line. A source tells us: “Celia is a huge coup for bosses with her Hollywood film career and recent appearance in Netflix’s The Diplomat - she’ll have fans all over the world tuning in.“And there’s no doubt Jonathan will be a huge personality on the show. He’s a massive Traitors fan so he’ll really take it seriously.” The Traitors will return later this year with its first celebrity spin-off and filming in Scotland is about to begin. Claudia Winkleman will once again return as host and there are some big names among the line-up. Jonathan is a huge fan of the show and his appearance on Celebrity Traitors will mark his comeback to the BBC. He was previously one of the corporation’s biggest stars thanks to his BBC One talk show, which ran from 2001 to 2010, before moving to ITV. However, a controversial broadcast on Jonathan's Radio 2 show in October 2008 led to him being suspended for 12 weeks without pay and saw comedian Russell Brand resign from the corporation. Jonathan later quit the BBC following the Andrew Sachs scandal. Celia, meanwhile, is another big name to be snared by the BBC. Most recently, Celia has portrayed the role of Margaret Roylin in Netflix thriller The Diplomat. The actress is also known for movies including Bridget Jones, Nanny McPhee and The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. Last week, we revealed comedian Joe Wilkinson - star of 8 Out of 10 Cats and Have I Got News For You - will be appearing on The Celebrity Traitors. He will be joined by fellow comedian Lucy Beaumont, who is a "massive fan" of the show. Lucy split with her husband Jon Richardson last year and an insider said: "After her split from Jon, she has been working really hard to make more of a name for herself and Celebrity Traitors is the ideal opportunity." Stephen Fry and Alan Carr will be among the cast, while Ted Lasso villain Nick Mohammed has also signed up for the series. Olympic diver Tom Daley, singer Paloma Faith and former rugby player Joe Marler are also taking part. The Celebrity Traitors is due to air this autumn on the BBC.
