My first week
My early thoughts
Siena Sleep is the younger sibling to well-known sleep brands Nectar and DreamCloud, offering three different budget mattresses that each cater to different sleep needs. After testing the Siena Memory Foam, the first offering from the company released three years ago and one of our top-rated memory foam mattresses for all budgets, I'm now testing the Siena Premier Hybrid.
This specific model is the brand's most expensive mattress yet at $424 for a queen size hybrid it still falls within the budget range. My full Siena Premier Hybrid Mattress review will be arriving soon, and in the meantime here are my thoughts on this affordable boxed bed and whether it's good enough to compete with this year's best hybrid mattresses for all sleepers...
Siena Premier Hybrid: Quick specs
Type: Hybrid
Materials: Memory foam, polyfoam, coils, polyester
Brand-rated firmness (1-10): 7

Does the DreamCloud Hybrid Mattress still impress? Here's what I think after one week of re-testing
The Siena Memory Foam Mattress is one of the top rated options in our best mattress of 2025 guide with our experts specifically recommending it for small budgets. Could the Siena Premier Hybrid dethrone its sibling? Both mattresses boast a firmer feel, although the Siena Premier Hybrid has some bounce to temper that.
I'm personally a fan of the Siena Premier Hybrid's responsive surface — and since it's flat and firm, it's been a great choice for my stomach sleeping ways. Although it has more give than I experienced with the Siena Memory Foam Mattress, I don't find it great for side sleeping.

Siena Premier Hybrid Mattress: Price, trial, warranty
The Siena Premier Hybrid Mattress is the brand's top-of-the-line model — but Siena is a budget mattress brand, so it's still highly affordable. Evergreen Siena mattress sales knock as much as 60% off the MSRP.
Below are the sale prices you can expect to pay for the Siena Premier Hybrid Mattress:
Twin MSRP: $836 (regularly on sale for $254)
Twin XL MSRP: $855 (regularly on sale for $339)
Full MSRP: $931 (regularly on sale for $382)
Queen MSRP: $1,016 (regularly on sale for $424)
King MSRP: $1,199 (regularly on sale for $509)
Cal king MSRP: $1,199 (regularly on sale for $509)
Split king MSRP: $1,709 (regularly on sale for $678)
If you need to upgrade your bedding and pillows, Siena offers the option to add a sleep accessory bundle for $99. It comes with a mattress protector, a sheet set, and up to two cooling pillows — a total value of up to $499.
You'll get 180 nights to trial it at home. At this price point, that's extremely generous; the average length of a mattress trial is somewhere around 100 nights. Return shipping is free as well.
Siena provides a 10-year warranty, which is within the industry average.
Siena Premier Hybrid Mattress: twin $836 $254 at Siena Sleep
Siena's most expensive mattress is still a bonafide budget buy, with a queen-size going for less than $450 during regular Siena mattress sales. It's much lower than Siena's "total value" of $1,016, but you can ignore that figure as it's never sold at that price.
Unboxing my new Siena Premier Hybrid mattress
Siena promises free no-contact delivery within 1-3 business days. My twin-size Siena Premier Hybrid Mattress arrived at my doorstep two days after I placed an order.
While I wasn't expecting this hybrid mattress to be feather light, it was quite the haul from my front door to my bedroom. Placing the mattress on my bed in its rolled state was a bit of a workout, too.
A twin-size mattress weighs approximately 56lbs, while a queen is just over 90lbs. I'd recommend asking for help setting this mattress up, especially if you have a larger size than I do.
As with many boxed beds these days, Siena no longer includes physical instructions or a pocket blade to slice through the plastic. I had to scan a QR code on the box for setup instructions. Fortunately, the plastic was easy enough for me to (mostly) remove by hand.

When unboxing a mattress, one of my rituals is to check the manufacturer tag to see how long ago mine was made, as it helps me gauge how much time I'd need to let the mattress "air out."
My Siena Premier Hybrid was produced in November last year, about five months before it was delivered to my home. Considering I've had roll-packed mattresses that were boxed up for well over a year, this is a step in the right direction.
I was surprised by how solid the Siena Premier Hybrid felt right after it had taken shape. The brand recommends waiting up to 72 hours for the mattress to expand fully, but it was stable enough to sleep on that night.
The lone issue I had with this mattress upon setup was a potent off-gassing. Since it was a warm spring day, I had my bedroom window cracked, which helped the smell dissipate by morning.
My first week of sleeping on it
Night 1: Adapting to a different type of hybrid
The Siena Premier Hybrid Mattress is shorter and flatter than I’m used to. For reference, I regularly sleep on the Cloverlane Hybrid Mattress, which stands at 15" tall and has a plush foam Euro top.
About the reviewer
Height: 5' 4"
Weight: 145-150lbs
Sleep style: Combi (side/stomach)
Sleep issues: Lower back pain, occasional overheating
Share a bed: No
That said, it didn’t take me long to settle in with the Siena Premier Hybrid. While it might’ve been wise for me to let it air out for at least a night, it still felt close to its intended firmness level of 7 out of 10.
As a side sleeper, I miss the Cloverlane’s plush top cushioning my joints, but the Siena wasn’t too unyielding. The surface has a nice buoyancy for subtle pressure relief.
I was worried about losing the Cloverlane’s targeted lumbar support, especially since my lower back’s been giving me fits. Fortunately, the Siena kept me well aligned, and I didn’t wake up worse for wear.
Nights 2-7: A solid choice for stomach sleeping
After one week with the Siena Premier Hybrid Mattress, I can confidently say that I enjoy it most for stomach sleeping.
There's ample support from the 7" wrapped coils and the dense 2" foam transitional layer. With a flat surface and minimal contouring, I can lie on my front without my hips sinking too low.
Side sleeping, however, is another story. As the week progressed, I began to feel pressure build up in my hips when resting on my side. It's not that the mattress lacks give entirely; it’s more that it feels like it's collapsing under my weight rather than conforming to my body.
As a result, I would find myself sleeping in a half-turned position — somewhere between my side and my stomach. This has worked out well for me.

The edge support has been impressive. All four sides of the mattress have reinforced coils, and it shows. When I sit on the edge of the bed in the morning, it feels sturdy, and when I reach for a book or my glasses while lying down, I never feel like I’m going to slide off.
The weather has been cooler than usual during this first week of testing, but the Siena Premier Hybrid has slept temperature-neutral for me. The 100% polyester cover and airflow from the coils likely help with that.
I’ll be performing my drop tests for motion isolation in the coming weeks, but this mattress feels very springy. Honestly, it’s quite fun to jump into bed, although I probably shouldn't do that every night.
Siena Premier Hybrid Mattress: My early thoughts
(Image credit: Future / Alison Barretta)
Remarkably, the Siena Premier Hybrid Mattress has felt stable from the start. After one week of sleeping on it, I rate it as a 7.5-8 out of 10 on the firmness scale, slightly above the brand's self-assessment of 7.
I don't think it's as firm as the Siena Memory Foam Mattress, which is surprising because all-foam beds are usually softer than their spring-based counterparts. The coils and foam layers here yield a responsive surface.
This mattress won't hug your body, though, which is a potential downside for side sleepers and those with achy joints. I couldn't sleep directly on my side without my hip starting to hurt, hence defaulting to a half-turned position during the week.
Despite that, I'm impressed with the Siena Premier Hybrid Mattress so far and think it could be a contender for this year's best mattresses in a box that we've tested on our team. I'm still deliberating on whether it's the right type of mattress for my sleep needs, but I've generally been comfortable, and the build quality has exceeded my expectations.
Over the next several weeks, I'll be inviting a broader panel of testers to give the Siena Premier Hybrid Mattress a try. I'll also be conducting a series of objective tests to gauge its motion isolation, pressure relief, and edge support. Stay tuned for my in-depth review.
