CHELSEA — The Maine State Police are investigating the deaths of two men at a Windsor Road home Wednesday night where a juvenile male was arrested at the scene.
Shannon Moss, public information officer for the Maine Department of Public Safety, said late Thursday afternoon in an email that troopers went to the home just after 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, where they found the men dead.
The men were identified by Maine State Police as Christopher Hunnewell and his son, Tyler.
Detectives and evidence response technicians with the Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit Central processed the scene and the bodies were taken to the Office of Chief Medical Examiner in Augusta where autopsies will be conducted to determine cause and manner of death, Moss said.
“A juvenile male was arrested at the scene and charged with murder,” Moss said in the news release. “He was taken into custody and transported to Long Creek Youth Development Center in South Portland. There is no danger to the public. The investigation remains ongoing. No additional information is being released at this time.”
