Nico Gonzalez trained on Monday afternoon ahead of Manchester City's game with Real Madrid after shrugging off a knock he picked up at Leyton Orient. Jeremy Doku, Ederson, Nathan Ake all missed the FA Cup win at the weekend but were present on Monday alongside Gonzalez. Oscar Bobb and Mathues Nunes were the only senior pair absent from the 15 minute section open to the media. At least four first team players have missed each of the last 31 matches for City in an injury crisis that has dragged their form and confidence down. Guardiola played down City's chances ahead of the tie because of the loss of consistency across the team, yet he will be boosted by the return of four key players.
