The Moroccan under-17 team has secured a spot in the final of the Africa Cup of Nations for their age category (CAN U17) after defeating Côte d'Ivoire in a penalty shootout following a goalless draw during regulation time this Tuesday in Mohammedia.
Despite missing goal-scoring opportunities and thwarting attempts, the Morocco U17 team managed to prevail over Côte d'Ivoire (0-0, 4-3 on penalties) to advance to the final. The ultimate showdown is scheduled for Saturday against Mali.
