Pedestrians were hit by an allegedly drunk driver who fled police on foot after crashing into a lamp post in Glasgow.
Around 8pm on Sunday, a driver in a Nissan, left the city centre and then crashed into two members of the public on Duke Street.
The car continued driving into a road closure set up by officers in the area following an earlier crash, and police had to take evasive action to avoid injury.
The Nissan then failed to stop and crashed into a lamppost a short time later on Carntyne Road.
A 34-year-old man was arrested in nearby woodland after trying to escape on foot.
He was charged with several offences, including failing to provide a breath sample and is due to appear at court on Tuesday, March 18.
At 3pm on the same day, a black Volkswagen Golf made off from police in the Shieldhall Road area.
It was traced parked nearby, and the driver, a 20-year-old man, was pursued on foot into a nearby house.
He was found to have no insurance, was disqualified from driving and was allegedly in possession of more than £1,500 of class A drugs.
He was arrested, charged and held in custody to appear in court on Monday.
