PicklePulse 2025 got underway on Saturday and pulled up Mumbai’s pickleball fever to new heights by serving up a blend of energy, rallies, and rhythm. Held at one of Mumbai’s buzzing pickleball venues, the event has been recognised as a PWR 50 tournament, making it a crucial stop for players chasing national and international ranking points. With a mix of seasoned competitors and emerging talent, the competition has drawn participants from across the city and beyond. What makes PicklePulse 2025 stand out is its vision; it isn’t just about competition, but about growing the sport. Organised under the umbrella of Pickleball India and supported by the Indian Pickleball Association (IPA), the event reflects a broader mission: to expand pickleball’s presence across India by creating high-energy, accessible weekend tournaments. PicklePulse 2025 is being held at Common Grounds, Thane (W). The tournament, which has been designated a PWR 50 event, features two primary categories: Men's Singles and Men's Doubles. PicklePulse 2025 carries the official recognition of the Indian Pickleball Association (IPA), Pickleball World Rankings (PWR), and Dynamic Universal Pickleball Ratings (DUPR). Tournament Format Categories Men's Singles (OPEN) Men's Doubles (OPEN) Scoring System: Rally Points A point is awarded on every rally regardless of who served. Group stage games are typically played to 15 points in the group stage( golden point 14-14) A minimum two-point margin should win games. (for Semis and Finals). Semi Final and Final will be played to 15 points or 21 points( depends on the availability of time) Serve switches to the opposing team immediately after each rally. Players serve from the right side when the score is even, the left side when the score is odd. The score is called as serving team score first, e.g., "7-5".
