Ruben Amorim reveals all about two Man Utd stars who left Lyon match at half-time
@Source: mirror.co.uk
Ruben Amorim has confirmed that Noussair Mazraoui and Victor Lindelof are available despite their mid-match exits from Old Trafford. The Moroccan started Manchester United’s Europa League comeback with Lyon , while the central defender was on the bench. But Mazraoui was withdrawn at half-time and left Old Trafford immediately. He was followed out of the stadium by Lindelof. Amorim then announced that the pair’s respective exits were due to ‘personal issues’. But the United boss has revealed that those problems have since been overcome and both Mazraoui and Lindelof are available for this weekend’s Premier League clash with Wolves at Old Trafford. Speaking in his pre-match press conference, he said: “He (Lindelof)'s available. “He has personal issues, like Nous, so we had to let him go but everything is okay now. I know that football is really important but there are things that are more important and then they will be ready to face the next game. "Both (issues arose) during the game and sometimes you don't control these things. Everything happened this season! But everything is okay now." Amorim now has a major dilemma to solve when it comes to his starting XI vs Wolves this weekend. United’s league campaign is already over, with a bottom-half finish looking more than likely. And the Portuguese coach has hinted that he could be tempted to rotate in order to keep stars fresh for the closing stages of his side’s Europa League campaign. "I have to see it," Amorim added when asked about possible changes. "Players like (Diogo) Dalot - they are always ready but today he was really tired. The guys that are recent to have an injury, we will try to save them. We will see tomorrow. What team should Man United name vs Wolves? Share your thoughts in the comments below "It's not the best moment or the best season to put some kids to play because again they need a strong base to really show what they can do, but in this moment we need to do it. And sometimes you have surprises. "Ayden (Heaven) just played - and I can be honest, because we had a lot of injuries in that moment - but today I think of Ayden as my player. So when he's ready, he's facing competition in the team and he's ready to play, so you don't know. "Amass did really well today, so we don't know. Chido, when he played he played quite well. It's a difficult moment, it's not the right moment for the kids to play, but if we have to do it we will do it. Will Obi get more minutes? Yes, I think so. Yes."
