Meghan Markle reveals her favourite TV shows to watch with Prince Harry

Meghan Markle has let slip on the TV shows that are on her and Prince Harry's watchlist. Despite the tension between them, Harry and Prince William surprisingly share similar tastes in TV - they're both hooked on the same show. The sibling bond between the two princes has been tenuous in recent years, with Harry airing candid views about their relationship in his memoir Spare, which included some bombshell claims about William. However, it appears the Duke of Sussex, 40, and the Prince of Wales, 42, alongside their spouses, are enthralled by the gripping Netflix spy thriller Black Doves. This critically-acclaimed drama boasts an A-list cast, featuring Keira Knightley as Helen Webb, an undercover agent spilling secrets about her politician husband, played by Andrew Buchan.
Meghan has now spilled the beans on what she and Harry enjoy watching together at home. In a chat about their life in Montecito ahead of her lifestyle series premiere, the Duchess revealed they cherish their 'day dates' or evening 'nightcap recaps' whenever possible. Occasionally, the couple, parents to five year old Archie and three year old Lilibet, also squeeze in some TV time together, reports the Mirror. "I think all parents in this phase with kids the same age know it's rinse and repeat," she confided in the magazine. "We love Shrinking; we just finished Black Doves, and we're excited for the new season of The White Lotus," she revealed to People magazine.
Clearly, the royals have a soft spot for Black Doves, as Meghan's brother-in-law William and his wife, the Princess of Wales, are also avid fans. During a festive bash last December for the 1st Battalion Mercian Regiment in Wiltshire, Prince William was more than merry as he played Santa, distributing Yuletide gifts to kiddies and their families.
But it wasn't just Christmas cheer that the future king shared; he was eager to talk about his latest telly obsession. On his visit to the Mercians, William spilled that he and Kate, 43 are hooked on Netflix's Black Doves.
The eight-episode sensation has critics raving, nabbing a flawless 100% Rotten Tomatoes rating right after dropping. After this Royal rave review, Netflix chirped up with a tweet: "Black Doves gets the Royal seal of approval", sparking a flurry among fans of the royals to give it a watch. Meanwhile, over at PEOPLE mag, Meghan Markle made it clear she's "not an influencer", referencing how the Sussex moniker is knitted into their love yarn.
Her own Netflix feature, With Love, Meghan, is set to launch Tuesday, promising an intimate look at the Duchess' life. The duchess teases the guest list, revealing it includes amigos from showbiz like Abigail Spencer and laugh-master Mindy Kaling, all lining up to add sparkle to her eight-part series.
Harry and Meghan's Archewell Productions played a key role in the production of the series, with Meghan also earning her stripes as an executive producer. The Royal couple inked a whopping £80million five-year contract with Netflix in 2020 and recently flexed their executive producer muscles on the show 'Polo'.
This follows their debut documentary, Heart Of Invictus, which premiered 16 months ago, chronicling the journey of service members to the Invictus Games - a Paralympic-style sports event founded by Harry in 2014 to uplift injured and sick military personnel and veterans.
